Nice work. Though longer lenses, multiple faster passes, and multiple engraving runs could have also made this possible without the Trotec. The speedy is a nice machine but this acrylic work should have been doable on a home built / china clone. Though the RF source on the Trotec also should/would be more consistent for power without ripple during activation. I would definitely use the Trotec myself if it were sitting there :) You should see if Trotec will let you borrow one of their scanning-head galvo CO2 markers / engravers. Now that is a fast machine. Cut your vectors on the flatbed then throw it into the galvo to engrave it super fast. While the scanning speed may be close to the Speedy, there is such a minimal amount of mass on the mirrors that it can change direction almost instantaneously. The speedy is something like 4300mm/s and the Speedmarkers are 6000mm/s.

OCZ drives are a nightmare... My old computers never booted-up right, when mixing an OCZ drive with any other drive. It would fail to initialize in time and demand multiple reboots until it was actually seen. Worst ting I ever did was put my OS on that drive. Second worst thing I did was install the drive at all. Fast speeds are useless if the drive isn't detected in the bios, or windows, even if its setup for hot-swapping.

For the LTT custom reservoir you should make a metal outer ring that goes on both sides. That would help prevent the problem you had with one screw getting over tightened and causing a crack and it would also more evenly distribute clamping force around the entire outer edge. It would look good too. The top could be counter sunk and the bottom threaded.
